Terms of Service & Mentoring Policies

1. Welcome & Service Overview
Learn English with Britt ("we", "us", "our") provides personalised 1:1 English speaking mentoring and coaching services for intermediate to advanced learners. By purchasing a mentoring pack or scheduling a session, you agree to the terms, conditions, and policies set forth herein.
2. Session Format & Scheduling
All standard sessions run for 50 minutes and take place online via Google Meet. Scheduling is managed directly through your Student Dashboard using our automated calendar integration. You are responsible for ensuring stable internet connectivity and functioning audio/video equipment for every scheduled session.
3. 24-Hour Notice: Rescheduling & Cancellations
To respect each other's time and ensure schedule predictability:
- At least 24 hours notice: You can reschedule or cancel any session directly within your Student Dashboard at no charge. The session credit is retained or immediately returned to your available balance.
- Under 24 hours notice: If you reschedule or cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, the session credit is forfeited and consumed. In-dashboard self-rescheduling is automatically locked inside the 24-hour window.
- One-off single sessions: Single individual sessions require at least 48 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
4. 10-Minute Window & Attendance Policy
Britt will wait in the designated Google Meet room for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time. If you have not joined by the 10-minute mark and have not provided prior written notice, the session is officially marked as a completed No-Show and the credit is forfeited.
5. Rolling 6-Week Credit Validity & Expiry
All mentoring package credits carry a rolling 6-week validity from the date of your latest session or package purchase.
- Automatic Renewal: As long as you remain an active learner, every new session you book or package you purchase automatically rolls over and extends your entire remaining credit balance for an additional 6 weeks.
- Dormancy: Credits that remain unused after 6 weeks of total scheduling inactivity expire and are non-refundable.
6. 7-Day Refund Guarantee & Cancellation of Purchase
We stand behind our mentoring. If you purchase a mentoring package and decide it is not the right fit:
- Unused Packages (within 7 days): You may request a 100% full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase by emailing Britt directly.
- Partially Used Packages (within 7 days): If you have completed one or more sessions within your first 7 days, a pro-rata refund will be issued (package purchase price minus completed sessions charged at the single-session rate).
- After 7 days: Packages are non-refundable. All remaining credits must be utilized within the 6-week rolling validity window.
7. Pricing, Currency & Taxes
All prices listed on our website and during checkout are strictly denominated in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. International clients are responsible for any foreign exchange or conversion fees charged by their issuing bank.
8. Non-Transferability
Mentoring sessions and package credits are strictly non-transferable. Sessions cannot be gifted, reassigned, or transferred to another individual.
