1. Our Privacy Commitment
At Learn English with Britt ("we", "us", "our"), we believe personal privacy is fundamental. We collect only the information necessary to deliver exceptional 1:1 mentoring, maintain your student record, and securely coordinate lessons. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
2. Information We Collect
- Account & Contact Data: Your name, email address, and authentication identifiers used to sign in to your Student Dashboard.
- Mentoring & Learning Records: Session timestamps, pedagogical feedback notes, vocabulary lists, and assigned practice exercises prepared specifically for your progress.
- Booking Information: Scheduled meeting times, timezone settings, and calendar synchronization identifiers.
3. Payment Information & PCI Compliance
All payment transactions are processed directly by Stripe, Inc., a certified PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider. We never see, receive, or store your credit card numbers, CVV codes, or full banking information on our servers. Stripe securely manages the payment lifecycle under their industry-leading encryption and security infrastructure.
4. Trusted Service Providers
We partner with established, high-security infrastructure providers to operate our platform:
- Supabase: Encrypted cloud database and identity management with strict Row-Level Security (RLS) ensuring that only you and Britt can access your student profile.
- Cal.com & Google Meet: Automated calendar booking and encrypted video conferencing rooms for our mentoring calls.
- Vercel: Global hosting platform operating with automated HTTPS/TLS encryption for all communications.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We prioritize a clean, tracking-free experience. We only use essential first-party session cookies necessary to keep you securely signed in to your student account. We do not use third-party behavioral tracking cookies or invasive ad networks.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
Under applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask for the permanent deletion of your account and mentoring history.
